Reaction to the Readings.

 1. Teaching Literacy Analysis
I thought that this article was very helpful. It broke down how to teach Literacy anaylsis in a clear and very helpful way. It showed a picture for people who are better learning visually. Then, it went into depth about each subject and what they should be looking for in the subject. Like once they pick which topic they are going to talk about, the next step would be to come up with a question to answer, like a thesis statement. What do you want to explore about the topic? Why does it stand out to you?

Question: How do you create a school climate that supports this type of progression in Reading for Literature?
Just like this article showed. Us teacher need to breakdown the steps and teach them in the correct order. While doing this we can help them practice by using topics they they are very involved in, whether it be school related or not. This can help spark interests that they enjoy while also being able to understand the topic they're talking about. We can find literature that relates to their topic and help them understand Literary analysis.

2. Plot structure mini lesson
I enjoy the powerpoint in this mini lesson. This is going to be able to help students understand the plot structure and the different literary elements that they need to understand.
